Module vs host clarity

Know when you can leverage a certified module — and when the host still needs work.

Antenna and layout reality

Gain, cable loss, and PCB antennas change compliance outcomes.

Global radio stack

Plan US, EU, Canada, Japan, and other radio approvals as one roadmap.

Standards & pathways we support

We do not list every acronym for show. These are the frameworks this service typically engages — scoped to your product after a short intake.

FCC Part 15C / 15E

Intentional radiators, DFS, and related US radio rules.

EU RED

Radio Equipment Directive — RF, EMC, safety, and cyber expectations.

ISED RSS

Canadian radio standards and certification.

MIC / TELEC (Japan)

Japanese radio type approval pathways.

SAR / RF exposure

Where body-worn or portable use triggers evaluation.

Modular approvals

Leveraging modular grants without invalidating them.

A clear path from intake to mark

Scope

Product, markets, and claims — we define what must be true to sell legally.

Gap analysis

Design, labeling, and evidence gaps before you spend on formal testing.

Test & remediate

Lab coordination, failure triage, and efficient retest planning.

File & maintain

Documentation pack, declarations, and change-control advice.

What you leave with

  • Radio architecture and approval strategy
  • Module/host compliance checklist
  • Test plan and TCB/lab coordination
  • Labeling and user manual RF statements
  • Multi-country radio roadmap

Common questions

We use a pre-certified module — are we done?

Often not. Antenna changes, host configuration, and regional rules can still require evaluation or additional filings.

Do you handle cellular carriers?

We support regulatory radio approval. Carrier acceptance is a separate commercial track we can advise on.

Can RF and EMC be combined?

Yes — efficient programs schedule both intentionally. We coordinate so you are not testing twice for the same failures.
